We were thrilled recently to win the first-place award for an Atlanta kitchen remodel. It’s always nice to be recognized for great design and quality workmanship! What’s even better, however, is how happy our clients are with their chic, contemporary new kitchen. We thought it might serve as a source of inspiration and ideas for others considering a kitchen remodel in the Atlanta area.
Fabulous Functionality
Not only is this contemporary kitchen bright and welcoming, but it's also fabulously functional. That, of course, didn't "just happen." It required careful thought and planning upfront to ensure that the room was designed to meet our clients' needs and match their sense of style.
For this project, our team modified the overall floorplan for the kitchen & dining area. We flipped the location of the dining room with the new kitchen so that we could utilize the larger space.
You can see how this room is a great room for entertaining—with plenty of space for guests to pass through on either side of the large kitchen island. Guests can also pass easily into the living room on one end of the kitchen or gather around the dining area on the opposite end.
The kitchen, however, isn’t just for entertaining. It’s ideal for everyday family use. In addition to providing plenty of additional workspace, the island also serves as a perfect spot for a quick family meal or snack. And if the family wants a sit-down dinner, the dining area is close at hand.
Of Course, It Looks Great as Well!
Like most homeowners, our clients also cared a lot about how their new kitchen would look. That’s why this stunning new kitchen features white shaker cabinets with gold cabinet hardware and Quartz countertops along with an oversized island that includes an under-mount sink and a gold faucet, and gold and glass pendant lights. Notice also, how the beautiful grey subway tile backsplash we added ties the look together. We also carried the grey subway tile backsplash up the wall to serve as the background for these stunning glass front cabinets. The gorgeous hardwood flooring completes the look.
