Copper Sky Brings Home Five Awards including Remodeler of the Year

Copper Sky Renovations in thrilled to announce we've been named Remodeler of the Year at the 2019 OBIE Awards. The OBIE Awards are given by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council in the home renovation and construction industry. In addition to Remodeler of the Year, four of our newly remodeled homes took home awards.

We are thrilled to announce that our own Adam Segrest was named 2019 Remodeler of the Year at the 2019 OBIE awards. This is the second consecutive year a member of the Copper Sky team has taken home the honor. 

Gold/First Place: Kitchen 

For this project, our team modified the overall floor plan for the kitchen & dining area. We flipped the location of the dining room with the new kitchen so that we could utilize the larger space. This gave our client a beautiful open concept layout perfect for watching over her children and entertaining guests. The new kitchen features white shaker cabinets with gold cabinet hardware and Quartz countertops, an oversized island with an undermount sink, gold faucet, and intricate gold pendant lights, and a grey subway tile backsplash to tie the look together.

Gold/First Place: Bathroom 

Our client came to us looking to refresh their guest bathroom and master bathroom in their Atlanta home. We created a new transitional style master bathroom with a dual wood vanity, quartz countertops, and a walk-in shower with custom tile.

Gold/First Place: Bathroom

By eliminating a wall and replacing the tub with a curbless walk in shower, this small bathroom was transformed into a beautiful space with the storage space required of a busy family. We built a 72" vanity with middle drawer, and added wainscoting around the room that included hidden storage. Each panel opens with touch latches. 

To align with the features of this older home, we installed a vintage glass window into the shower.

Silver/Second Place: Whole Home Renovation 

Our team added a sizable two-story addition at the rear of the home, making way for a breakfast room, mudroom, and screened in porch on the first floor, and a new master suite on the second floor. 

The renovation continued with a new floor plan on the first floor, opening up the kitchen to the living room, increasing entertaining space. This full restoration is full of charming details at every corner, giving this family the growing space they need while maintaining the historical integrity of the house.
