This renovation transformed a home's modest patio into a versatile but elegant outdoor living space where family and friends can gather. Our team worked with the family’s vision to connect the interior, exterior, pool, and second floor seamlessly, resulting in a spectacularly beautiful and modern outdoor hangout.
A few key enhancements went into creating the sleek and stunning remodel. The installation of retractable screens and vinyl panels to enclose the patio add protection from the elements. The home's weathered pergola was one of the initial challenges the remodeling team faced. This pergola was dismantled and removed carefully, as it had the potential to disrupt and damage surrounding areas.
Another challenge was to enlarge the living room opening and create a space big enough to accommodate beautiful accordion steel doors. Our construction team made precise structural modifications to ensure the home maintained its structural integrity.
There were also custom design elements that proved challenging, but nothing Copper Sky Design + Remodel couldn’t handle. Since the family wanted the porch area covered, the design team specially designed the porch ceiling to house the motorized screens discreetly and the electrical components properly and safely.
This remodel focused on creating seamless indoor-outdoor living, so our team needed to add structural support with steel beams. This required careful engineering of the spaces to ensure everything from the beam weight and dimensions to the porch and upper deck design was considered. Through careful planning, these beams were installed without a hitch.

This contributed to the upper deck's luxurious design while granting the family a viable deck privacy solution.
